Thumbnails not available
Want to upload photos that say "thumbnail not available" for my photo book?

Could someone please let me know why some of my photos can be uploaded to my photobook and others say "thumbnail not available"? How can I get these photos?

      Hi Kathy.

I searched the Shutterfly Help Pages for "Thumbnails not available" and found the following:

No Thumbnail Available - Simple Path

      Published 01/25/2010 03:04 PM | Updated 01/26/2011 03:17 PM

What does "No thumbnail available" mean in my Simple Path book?

If you see a “No Thumbnail Available” error message, it means the picture you added to your photo book is too large to render. Once you sign into your Shutterfly account, we will upload your picture; once the upload is complete, the picture will be available to use in your photo book.

The help pages can be found by clicking on the Help link at the top of your "My Shutterfly" page next to the "Sign out" link.

If this doesn't answer your question, either upload the photos to a "My Pictures" album instead of directly into the photo book or contact Shutterfly's Customer Service.
