I'm pleased to announce that Shutterfly is officially finished migrating photos over from Kodak Gallery.
If you are unable to locate your photos on Shutterfly, you may not be looking in the right area.
Thanks for your patience during this transition, and welcome to Shutterfly!

Hello!
Accounts with large numbers of photos have been succesfully moved over, and our engineers have one batch of accounts left to migrate.
This morning our engineers discovered that some Kodak Gallery images were temporarily unavailable, but that issue was quickly resolved.
More to come. As always, thanks for your patience!

Hi everyone,
Here is the latest update regarding the Kodak Gallery migrations.
The vast majority of accounts have been migrated successfully. Some accounts with a large number of photos are still in the process of moving over, but we hope to have them done within the next few days.
The last batch of accounts we are working to move over are cases where two or more Kodak Gallery accounts were linked to one Shutterfly account. We're working on a solution for this and hope to have this last batch fixed shortly.
Some recently migrated accounts may not have had the album sort fix in place. We will be updating the album sort in these accounts. In the meantime, please refrain from making changes (moving albums, renaming albums, etc.) if you are waiting for your albums to be sorted.
Thanks for your patience!

Hi all,
We are this close to completing the migration of billions of Kodak Gallery images into your Shutterfly accounts. As always, we appreciate your patience during this important process.

More great news! We've nearly finished with the Album Sort Order issue fix, and the majority of accounts affected by this issue should now be able to sort their albums chronologically. Our engineers are currently working through the small number of accounts still affected.
Please make sure that you have your photo albums set to sort by Creation Date (New to Old) or (Old to New), depending on your preference. To do this, log into Shutterfly and click the "My Pictures" tab. Scroll to the bottom, and find the Sort drop-down menu.

Hi everyone,
Great news...the majority of the migrations are complete. Our engineers are working hard to migrate the remaining larger accounts that have had delays.
Over the weekend our engineers successfully launched the first step of the process to fix the issue affecting Album Sort Order. Today they will launch the second step of the process. Thanks for your continued patience!

Hello! Our engineers are aware of an issue that is affecting the messaging for some accounts regarding the estimated time of arrive (ETA) for your photos to move over to Shutterfly. It appears that in some cases the ETA is displaying a short time estimate when actually the ETA is longer. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused users.
The migrations are coming along swiftly and we hope to have the ETA messaging issue cleared up as soon as possible.

Hello!
I just wanted to report that we now have a fix for the Album Sort Order issue. We're currently running tests on the fix and hope to launch it on Monday of next week. Once it launches, it shouldn't take more than a day to complete. Have a great weekend!

Hi everyone,
Our engineers are getting ready to launch the fix for the sorting order of your migrated albums. Our estimates are to have this in place by the end of this week.
Migrations in general are coming along nicely, and they look to be ahead of schedule. Thanks for your continued patience.

Some Kodak Gallery migrated customers may be experiencing problems either signing in to their Shutterfly account or accessing their account once signed in. Our Engineers are aware of this issue and working to get it fixed as soon as possible.
Please note - this issue has no affect on the images in your account. Your images are still safe and secure.

Hello! Just a quick weekend update ... per my last post, the latest Engineering fix has restored your missing/edited photos. We expect to have Album Sort Order fixed next week. Thanks for your continued patience. Have a great weekend!

Our engineers were burning the midnight oil last night, and your missing edited photos are now restored to your accounts!
We are pushing out the fix for the Album Sort Order issue in the next few days, and photo albums should be updated with the "Created Date" information by next week.

We know some Kodak customers were disappointed that only their original (not edited) photos were going to be migrated to their new Shutterfly account. Good news, our brilliant engineers found a solution! Edited photos that were not initially moved to Shutterfly should show up in your account by the end of this week.
Additionally, more good news on the album sort order issue! If your albums have already been moved over, our engineers should have your albums updated with the "Created Date" information by next week.

Hi everyone - I hope you are enjoying your Saturday. It's 103 degrees where I am, and I'm stuck indoors with the AC on.
I have an update for you regarding the album sort issue:
As mentioned in yesterday's update, Shutterfly has been working on a solution that will return your albums to chronological order. Hurray! We are testing a potential fix and hope to have it in place soon. When we fix the problem, we’ll be updating the albums in your “My Kodak Gallery Albums” folder, so please do not rename the folder or move any albums out of it until the fix is complete.
Thank you for your continued patience as we work to resolve this important issue.

Hi everyone!
TGIF! I’m pleased to report that the photo migration is proceeding nicely. We’re moving thousands of Kodak Gallery customer photos to Shutterfly every day. You'll be happy to hear that migrations are slightly ahead of schedule and we’re hopeful we’ll be able to complete the process much faster than our original estimate of 3-4 months.
We are aware of an issue that is affecting the sort order of Kodak Gallery albums. Albums are appearing in alphabetical, rather than chronological order. We realize this is a major inconvenience and we are working to find a solution. We hope to have this resolved soon and will be posting regular updates here, so stay tuned!
