Customers contacting us via phone may experience longer than normal hold times. This morning's earthquake in Costa Rica has affected one of our partner call centers. None of our employees were injured, but our partner call center is temporarily closed due to safety concerns. As a result, we have less capacity on phones and our chat service will be unavailable today. We are working to get these issues resolved as quickly as possible and appreciate your patience.
Also, we have extended the 101 free prints promotion. Customers who were unable to take advantage of the free print offer last night can re-enter LABORDAY101 to extend the promotion through midnight tonight.

Hi all,
Just wanted to let you know about two new in-high-demand ANCP features we just released.
Located in the “Pictures” tray if you hover over an image (a button will appear that says “Use as spread”). This will not work if you are on the cover or title/single page. [screen capture below]

As you click the “Use as spread” button, a window will appear that will assist you in cropping the image for the spread. [screen capture below]

Upon completion, clicking “Done” will place the photo across both pages. [screen capture below]

Please note that these are now two separate pages and you can move the images around in customize mode. Additionally, you can find more info about the 2 page spread in our Help Center.
Located in-path from the “Add pictures” window, next to the Facebook tab — you can now connect to your Instagram account to import photos into an ANCP book.
This new connection works the same as the Facebook download option; it will not create an album of images within the account. The images are downloaded to the current book project and will be used in ANCP path only.
Please note that images may be lower resolution because Instagram photos are most often taken from mobile phones.

These forums are intended for support questions, sharing ideas, tips, best practices and experiences. While Shutterfly employees monitor these forums and may post here, this is a user-to-user support community and not an official communication channel for Shutterfly.
1. Remember the Golden Rule: “Treat others as you would have them treat you.” The Community enables interaction among Shutterfly members with all levels of expertise. By welcoming new members and respecting one another, we create an inviting environment that encourages participation and builds the Community’s value for everyone.
2. Stay on topic. Keep topics focused on the original conversation. If you have a related question to a posted topic, go ahead and start a new thread. Topics unrelated to Shutterfly may be discussed in the Community forum.
3. Post topics to the most relevant forum, not multiple forums. Posting the same question across multiple boards creates disjointed conversations. It’s more effective to keep a post in just one category, so that the comments stay together in one place.
4. Give praise when due. Everyone likes to know if their contributions were valuable. If another user helped you or shared worthwhile content, let them know — including a “thanks” in your post, giving kudos, and/or rate the post as appropriate.
5. Keep the order. You can help make this a safe, positive, and valuable community by helping enforce these guidelines and reporting violations to Shutterfly.
We want you to be able to express yourself and your point of view while using our community forums, but certain kinds of speech simply do not belong in Shutterfly. Therefore, you may not post or share content that:

We ask that you understand these guidelines and respect the intent behind them. In most cases, if one of the lines above is crossed, we will issue a warning and address the offense. Subsequent violations will result in forum account termination.

When you sign into the Shutterfly Community Forums, your profile will automatically be created from your Shutterfly Community profile information. You will have the opportunity to build a profile, including your first name, last name, location, a “fun image,” and how many photo books you have printed. You will be asked which information, if any, you wish to have displayed in your public profile. With the exception of your user name, you do not have to provide or agree to display any information in your public profile in order to use the Shutterfly Community Forums.
Shutterfly does not pre-screen or approve Shutterfly profiles, and cannot guarantee that a Shutterfly profile was actually created and is being operated by the individual or entity that is the subject of a Shutterfly profile. Nor is Shutterfly responsible for the content of any Shutterfly profile, or any transactions entered into or other actions taken on or in connection with any Shutterfly profile, including how the owner of the Shutterfly profile collects, handles, uses and/or shares any personal information it may collect from users. You should be careful before providing any personal information to or entering into any communication with another Shutterfly member.
IF YOU CHOOSE TO ALLOW THE INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO BE DISPLAYED IN YOUR PUBLIC PROFILE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU ARE CONSENTING TO THE RELEASE OF INFORMATION ABOUT YOU TO A PUBLIC FORUM, INCLUDING OTHER MEMBERS OF THE SHUTTERFLY COMMUNITY AND VISITORS TO THE SHUTTERFLY WEBSITE. IF YOU DO NOT WANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU, INCLUDING PERSONALLY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION TO BE SHARED IN A PUBLIC FORUM, DO NOT PROVIDE THE INFORMATION.
Access and control over most personal information on the Shutterfly Community Forums is readily available through the profile editing tools. Shutterfly Community Forum users may modify or delete any of their profile information at any time by logging into their account. Information will be updated immediately; however, removed information may persist in other users' activity feeds or backup copies for a reasonable period of time.
You can make use of the communication features of the Forums to share information with other individuals on Shutterfly Community Forums (e.g., sending a personal message to another Shutterfly Community Forum user); however, you generally cannot remove such communications.
